SES 722 - Environmental Engineering
Second Semester (2025/2026)
ENS 722 provides an in-depth study of environmental engineering principles and applications for managing water, wastewater, solid waste and related pollution challenges. The course covers wastewater treatment (primary, secondary and tertiary processes), sludge treatment, municipal solid waste management, recycling, composting and integrated sustainable waste management approaches. Emphasis is placed on technical, environmental, socio-economic, institutional and policy dimensions of systems design, equipping students to plan, operate and evaluate sustainable environmental infrastructure and services.
